Such a beautiful house very well maintained - with striking views, an amazing pool and spacious rooms.
Our host Veronique was extremely helpful throughout the trip, she was accessible and super helpful whenever we needed help.
Both the property and our gracious host are extremely recommended.

FAMILY FUN

We just returned from a wonderful week at Casa del Sol. It was a family trip with 11 peeps, 3 generations! The casa was perfect. We had plenty of space to live like royals all week. Everything was clean and well furnished, the outdoor flat top gas grill was used for breakfast ,lunch and dinner, and we spent hours at the oversized patio table. Véronique was just as great as could be, as was Fred. The pool was great for all, and was cleaned routinely. Two full size refrigerators worked out great for our group!!! We rented a small car for hauling food, ice and beverages up the hill, as well as the the old people!!! Kids walked the hill most of the time.
We did a couple outings and used a driver I've known from past trips. 5 days at Bikini beach.
Thank you Véronique for answering all my silly questions and making this trip as special as I imagined it last. None of us wanted to leave!

Your home is simply wonderful and everyone was thrilled with the accommodations...the view, the pool, the proximity to the beach, the restaurants near the beach...and of course the weather was just perfect! You should be very proud of the "vacation experience" you have created for those of us who need to escape the winter blues. Everyone agreed the house was a perfect and exactly what we had in mind when searching for a place to stay...comfortable rooms, great patio for group meals, and of course the house had everything anyone could need. Even the maid service was great! I would be more than happy to fill out the review! It was a pleasure meeting you and I must admit I'm jealous of your wonderful lifestyle....GREAT JOB!!!!

Fabulous house, fabulous views, fabulous host (Veronique) with lots of attention to detail!

Perfect first Caribbean vacation and great experience at Casa Azul with Veronique. Niece's graduation present (Dec. from Marshall College) as she always wanted to "swim with the dolphins" (took ferry to Anguilla), her 24th birthday was New Year's Eve (Veronique got us reservations), and it was our 25th year wedding anniversary. Was us, my sister & her husband and children age 18, 21, 24, who loved everything about the week. I couldn't have scripted it better.
Veronique plugged our number into her cell phone when we met. She checked in by text, and we'd text with questions. She was responsive. She left us a great fruit basket and stuff to start with (Guava jam, coffee, milk, etc.). Lots of attention to detail, from noodles/toys for the pool, to nice, large, beach towels, to a large cooler with ice packs for day trips/beach, to mosquito repellant to 110/220 V adapters for the cell phone chargers.
Best stocked rental kitchen. Lots of dishes/glasses of all types, three sets of silverware, so didn't have to do the dishes immediately, and dishwasher. Electric juicer and heavy-duty blender were appreciated, with good selection of pots, pans and knives. Kitchen had an old island feel to it with tiled counters and heavy wood cutting boards, functional, with nice frig with lots of ice cube trays (or buy ice by bag), and great opening to pool area.
Very casual, comfortable house, with character and nice covered outdoor sitting and dining area, w/crank down side tarps for wind. Bathrooms have great tile work and you feel like you're in an island villa. Toilets off the hallways. Very nicely decorated. Views incredible. Open stairway to second floor (no rail).
Great day trip to Pinel Island (ferry 9 - 5, don't miss leisurely 30 min walk to smaller peak, or longer hike to the top, with incredible 360 degree view). Close to butterfly farm (go when sunny as more activity, you can get a pass for your entire stay, w/new butterflies born every am). Not far to Parrot Villa where you can feed them (skip if bird phobia). Favorite restaurant by far was LePimont in the village. Paradise View 5 min away. Mosquitoes are "small but mighty" so bring favorite spray and close up house at night before turning inside lights on. Were trying to do without rental car, but it gives you more flexibility so Veronique coordinated one on short notice. Opted to remove fragrance sticks to front porch. We'll definitely be back! You can't beat Casa Del Sol. The location is great, the amount of space is great and Veronique, the owner, is wonderful. My family and I travel quite a bit and were very impressed with Casa Del Sol (it is up there as one of the top places we've stayed). The house is in a gated community, allowing privacy and comfort. The pool is very nice, not to mention the patio which opens up to the house with sliding glass doors. Casa Del Sol is the full package.

My family, including 5 kids, stayed at Casa del Sol for a week. The house was even more beautiful than the pictures and Veronique attended to every detail. The kids really enjoyed the pool and the beach was amazing. It was a fantastic vacation and Veronique was a wonderful hostess!!

The house turned out as everything I'd hoped for: clean and updated; comfortable and open design perfect for families; air-conditioned rooms and nice bathrooms; daily cleaning service kept the place fresh; and a private pool with spectacular views of St Barths. We had 7 adults and an 18-mo old baby, and the place was plenty spacious for us. Private gate into the small community provides added security. Nice 10 minute walk to Orient Beach (hilly on the way back up, but pleasant); 3 min drive to grocery store; 5 min drive to butterfly farm; 15 min drive to Grand Case. Veronique's hospitality was great: local mobile phone provided, chef recommendation, and responsive to our needs. Being the first time renting a villa online, naturally I was unsure of how the experience would go. Casa del Sol did not disappoint. Thanks V!

My wife and I stayed at Casa Del Sol for 10 days this past November. The house is a magnificent facilty with breath taking fews of St Barths and Galleon Beach. The bedroom and bath were elegant and nice and cool with the A/C. The kitchen had wonderful fews of St Barths and all modern appliances - the extra refriderator is an nice touch. The private pool deck is beautiful and peaceful. The villa is very private and secure - your own security gate. Last - the location is great for anyone who loves to go to Orient Beach during the day and Grand Case at night for dinner.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
